Made for ScoreSpace #23 in 3 DAYS!

You're the hero of your village. In order to keep your village alive, you need to slay BEASTS, and bring back their meat. You start the game on the world map. Click an adjacent space to travel there for the next day. After choosing a space, you'll be sent to the game view.

In the game view, you progress to the right and fight beasts along the way. Large beasts will have a health bar, and drop more meat than small beasts on death. If you die during combat, your village will come to save you, at the expense of some of the village's food and half of your items. If you damage a large beast, but fail to slay it, it will be marked as (DAMAGED) on the world map.

There are two different types of spaces: grassy and craggy. Craggy spaces hold more small beasts and cleanser fruit, while grassy spaces hold more herbs. Herbs are valuable plants used to make powerful healing potions. Press F while near one to crush it up, and turn it into a potion. Potions heal 25 health. You can also choose to eat meat for yourself, giving you an extra 10 max stamina, but the effects will quickly fade.

Cleanser fruit are a widely used remedy for many poisons. Found on the cleanser bush, these fruits often come in groups of three. Collect them by pressing F while near a bush. Then, when you feel ill, press E while holding the cleanser fruit to cleanse your body of your ailment. If your village starves, you will lose the game. Also, check the leaderboard to see if you got a highscore! :)

Hey CodeRedYT!
This project is pretty amazing! If it's not too much to ask - could you help out fellow developer here and give me some hint or direction how to create working leaderboard working in web version? :) I have mine running on http web requests and it just won't work :(

Thanks! I’m glad you liked it :)

The leaderboard was made using lootlocker, more specifically using this video tutorial: https://youtu.be/u8llsk7FoYg
